[States '07] PHUL teams for Girls states 2007

Girls PHUL States teams,

    Congratulations, if you are receiving this e-mail then your team
has been awarded a bid to the 2007 UPA HS State Championships in
ToughKenamon, PA on May 12-13, 2007.

    As you probably know, there are forms to complete, fees to pay,
and deadlines to meet.  It's a little work, but it's all necessary to
make sure we can provide a fun and safe experience, and we're sure it
will be worth the effort on your part.  All the information you need
will be rolled out to you over the next few days via e-mail, and
eventually posted on our website: www.upa-pa-states.org.

    1.) Tournament fee

        To secure your bid please send a check for $300, payable to
'Darren Shultz' to:

       Or paypal $300 to: DarrenShultz@gmail.com  (do not use a credit
card payment in paypal or it will be denied)

       PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR TEAM NAME WITH YOUR PAYMENT - on a separate
sheet or in the notes/memo field.  If you are sending via snail mail
please have this sent by May 5th.

       Note: $25 of this is a security deposit that will be returned
contingent on your team following certain rules (detailed later.  i.e.
playing all games, not trashing the fields, etc.)

    2.) Accepted teams

        The following teams have been accepted to States (not seeded):

    PHUL currently has 3 teams going to states, with PHUEL having 3
teams as well.  In alphabetical order we have:

1.) Cardinal O'hara - PHUEL
2.) Fox Chapel - PHUL
3.) Hampton - PHUL
4.) Lower Merion - PHUEL
5.) North Hills - PHUL
6.) Pennsbury - PHUEL

        If you see an error in the spelling of your team name please
let me know ASAP.

    3.) UPA Registration and Rostering

        Note, if you are a PHUL team *and you have turned in all your
forms for PHUL* you are fully registered for States with the exception
of the online roster (We'll be attempting to do that automatically for
teams this weekend, please check with me after). and a chaperone form.

each team must also have at least one adult Chaperone over the age of
18 who has graduated from high school, and this form:

     If you are unsure of what forms you need please ask me and I can
e-mail you the files.

    4.) UPA Rostering

        PHUL will take care of your rostering this Saturday.  After
that you will be e-mailed and ask to check.  If you have anyone
playing on your team who did not play in PHUL they must get a UPA
membership immediately and be manually entered on your roster.  If you
wish to remove anyone you may do so on Sunday.

    5.) Field locations

        Brandywine Polo Fields, ToughKenamon, PA

        Once seeds are announced you will know which field to report
to on Saturday.

    6.) Tournament Hotel

        We have a tournament hotel - get a room ASAP - again please
check the website, more later.
